My hair’s fine and shoulder-length, but this brush gives roots real lift without tugging—the cushion gives just enough flex, and the vented holes cut drying time noticeably. It glides through damp hair smoother than my old paddle ever did.

Honestly I was skeptical about vented brushes doing much for volume, but the pin cushion really does grab the roots without snagging my fine hair. Blow-drying took noticeably less time and my short bob came out smooth with a bit of lift at the crown.

The vented design actually speeds up drying time noticeably, which is a win for my thick, shoulder-length hair. It gives decent root lift without tugging, though I wish the handle had a bit more grip when my hands are damp.
